We’re looking forward to an exciting year at Cervin Ventures, and wanted to highlight some key takeaways from 2016 that we think are indicators for what to expect in 2017.
2016 was a banner year for us. Three of our portfolio companies had stellar exits. Replay Technologies was acquired by Intel. Soha Systems was purchased by Akamai Technologies and Zephyr sold a majority stake to Frontier Capital. At the end of the year, Cervin has 18 active companies in its portfolio across its funds, and we could not be more excited about our prospects.

About two-thirds of the money invested was in deals of $25M or more - with many non-traditional VC’s playing a big part.
